to the community Your coin is a sestertius of the emperor Commodus 177-192 AD. Can't make out some of the legends but I believe the Obverse is: M COMMODVS ANT P FELIX AVG BRIT. And the reverse is: MINER VICT PM TR P XIIII IMP VIII COS V PP. Which would make the coin RIC III 527. Very nice coin.

The coin is listed in RIC (Roman Imperial Coins), it's not a rare coin but still not too easy to come by.

Check wildwinds website under "Imperial Rulers" Commodus
RIC 546cf Commodus AE Sestertius. M COMMODVS ANT P FELIX AVG BRIT, laureate head right / MINER VIC (...) TR P VIII COS V DES VI S-C, Minerva standing left, trophy behind.
Nice coin ...... Similar to SEAR 5770.
