I think this is a great idea, maybe it will start some awareness in the ebay community, nearly 400 coins is incredible. I'd like to hear more about the project! I think creating awareness is important, and your ad should do this. Then hopefully it will get people talking about the issue. This way it will no longer be swept under the carpet. I'm wondering if it would have more impact to send a copy to the minister of finance, with a letter signed by collectors. Maybe the government has to be embarrassed into taking action. |

Mike, I'm wondering how many countries you have found counterfeit coins for? Also what percentage would you say are coins worth under $30 for the real ones?

It's great news the American government has recognized the threat to collector coins. They are at least try to pass a bill to stop the selling of counterfeits and make it a crime! Canada needs to do like wise along with other countries that care about collector coins. When countries take notice and make enforceable laws, this could slow down these Chinese copies.
