Do you have those scales that are sold at the Post Office? Are they pretty good? I was looking at the 5lb scale on the USPS website for $24.99.

I've had a USPS scale for over 4 years and it works well. I have the 10 lb. max capacity one, so it may be slightly different. I was told by a USPS worker that the 30lb max has the ability to plug right into your computer should you have the need. It depends on what you plan to ship, I guess. I don't know if there is much difference in price.

I don't really mail anything too heavy. I think the 5lb scale would suit my purpose. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Check ebay. You can usually get one that can weigh up 50lb for under $20.
Here's one as an example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Accuteck-S-...em33752c4759
