.....after this Sundays auction, TeleTrade is closing their doors for good. I understand some parts of their operation will be absorbed by Stacks Bowers.

CCF might want to consider dropping them from:

Interesting...

Actually TeleTrade is owned by Spectrum as is Stacks-Bowers, see http://teletrade.com/coins/blog.asp, which described the whole reorganization.

So it doesn't sound like the auctions are going away as much as being rebranded. But while they said back in July it would all be consolidated under the SBGdirect brand, there's no sign of it yet (and SBGdirect is a real estate site)...

Seems like a mis-managed opportunity. Brands have changed themselves before (remember Datsun --> Nissan took several years with the new brand introduced as an add on, then became primary and finally Datsun was dropped). Brands have changed rapidly (anything spokespersoned by Tom Ford). But it would be weird without having warning (I don't see any news on TeleTrade's site)...

Honestly, Teletrade as a brand has been slipping greatly the last year or two. Probably better to do the name/mission change; Heritage has been eating both their lunches for years.
