My son just brought in Fridays mail. To my surprise and confusion I have a letter from Hub City Coins. I never ordered anything from them I think to myself, I've read about them on CCF. I proceed to open the envelop and there's the Aussie 50 cent silver yr of the snake coin, wrapped in Ads for coin expo 2014. I think to myself this is really weird, I don't know anyone at hub city. Then I read a very nice letter from Darla Frizzell, apparently she knows me, and I have purchased from her a month ago.
I look through my ebay buys and the only purchase is from the Currency Museum in Moncton. I check my email correspondence and of course the lady I've been chatting with is Darla.
I'm totally shocked by the incredible generosity of this lady! When I won a color wildlife bison, she sent a little gift for my son. So I started chatting and watching the Currency Museum's auctions on ebay. I'm thinking I'm chatting with a real nice private seller, with great prices and cheap shipping. I'm even giving some selling tips, I've learned from this forum and eBays forum. I feel so embarrassed now, I've learned I'm chatting with an established coin dealer.
So this is my thank you to Darla at Currency Museum ebay and of course Hub City Coins Moncton NB

@pocketchange50, That is really a nice gesture! There are still some very nice people in this world. It was also very nice to include your son as he will no doubt collect coins himself.

I've taken my daughter (4 years old at the time) to Torex in Toronto. We stopped by the Hub City Coins table and they gave a few fun coin freebies to my little girl, who was thoroughly impressed as much as I was.

Good people.

Nice... I have bought beers for Darla and her Dad (Fraser) at coin shows... and they never sent me a coin!!

(All in good fun, of course, I am not part of their client base!)

Typical New Brunswick behavior. We are pretty nice down here.
