The letters make me think of a mediëval coin.
One side has an eagle claws and tail visible.
The head is not visible.
The second picture has a cross with some letters around.
Does anyone recognize this kind of coin?
Copper, diam 1,9cm

Not an eagle, but a rampant lion. The reverse legend of IN DOMINO CONFIDO, and what looks like a fleur-de-lys in the center of the cross, seems to make this a coin of Flanders under Burgundian rule. Specifically, that of Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy 1419-67. Check out the double mites at the bottom of this auction catalog page:
