Folks - take a look at pictures. found 6 clip errors (5 in one box and the other in the box next to it) all look legit to me except possibly the 55 in upper left corner. it appears to be clipped at an angle. these were all found in 2 boxes total. along with IHC and a proof 68S, and bunch of other BU 60's and 70's pennies. I am heading to bank tomorrow to grab as many pennies as they will sell me. I have done thousands of dollars worth of pennies and this is about how many clips I have ever found - give or take - 5 in one box seems crazy. I wonder what other errors lurk?

one blank planchet

massive lamination error on the 57 - in my opinion - please confirm. does not appear to be PMD as the coin is in good shape otherwise. if so, I think its likely above and beyond typical lamination error for Wheat penny, so it has me pretty amped up.

The 1999 appears to be maybe struck out of collar or somehting like that? maybe plating error? looking at it from the side, you can see the zinc on the side of the coin until you get to the last few % of the back of the coin where you can see the copper wash. area around rim is raised in both directions - i.e. sticks up from body of coin towards the viewer. I don't think its a Dryer Coin, but it could be.

i looked further at the 55 in the upper right corner of the pics. there is either PMD or strike weakness on the top of the stalk and the "O" in one. so they were either abraded off or not struck correctly due to the clip.

i am not 100% sure these are all clips now. I am on vacation and I don't have my setup for taking better pics here, so it may be a while before I get better pics. I will try in the meantime.

Look for the Blakesley effect, Blakesley effect
The weakness opposite the clip on a clipped planchet error coin. This occures during the upsetting process, because of the clip there is a lack in pressure to upset the rim directly opposite the clip.
