If anyone has head facing coins, post them here. They're not that common in Greek and Roman issues. Somewhat more common in Eastern coins and of course Byzantines.
Here's a nice Larissa drachm that passed through my hands. I bought it on behalf of a friend. One of these days I want to get one to keep.
THESSALY. Larissa. Drachm (Circa 356-342 BC). 18 mm, 6.1 gm Obv: Head of the nymph Larissa slightly left, hair held by an ampyx. Rev: ΛAPIΣ / AIΩN. Horse standing right, preparing to lie down, plant below. BCD Thessaly II 320.
