I bought a White Spectrum XLT about 16 years ago and drug it out of the closet today and fired it up. It still "works", but the screen appears to be shot. I dug up a few pennies in a yard, but it seems to be a bit off.

I think the screen needs to be replaced and possibly the whole thing recalibrated. Do I send this off to White? Any clue what they charge or if anyone has done this? Also, has technology improved a ton in the last 15 years or will this machine suffice?

That unit has had an exceptionally long run, but it is popular and I'm sure White's can service it. Hopefully, labor and parts wont exceed the cost of a nice used "replacement".
