good answer---mine will add number (Mintage) of prefix (Or whatever set) printed or produced..........there is a difference in ammounts......lower number= higher price. I guess this really is supply......

Take the devils head replacements for example.

It's a Popular Series with a Short Print Run (Devils Head notes: 1954-1956). Plus a Limited Number Printed (The $5 Devil's Head Replacement only had 9,600 notes printed between both signature combinations). With all that in mind, Collectors will pay top dollar for these notes, because of their scarcity.

Compare that to other replacement notes which were printed in the millions, for a not super popular series (Birds Series for example).

BUNDLES HBH 2226657 & HBH 2227632 both missing the exact number of notes ... so the inserted notes that make up for the missing notes are replacements as-well, or is this not always the case?

solid note 2222222 is somewhere in the Vancouver area.
