Newfoundland 1 Cent 1940 Re-Engraved?

chequer Pillar of the Community Canada 4227 Posts	Posted 12/09/2013 12:21 pm I'm not seeing any definite sign of re-engraving on the date, but it could be the photos just aren't close enough. Perhaps someone more familiar with this variety will chime in to see if this looks like it - the nine shows promise, but I'm not sure. If you have a magnifying loupe, examine the date yourself for any signs of doubling like what is shown in the ebay photos on the known variety coin. Report this Post to the Staff
