Sometime ago I got this medal, just out of curiosity. Should be bronze, there`s a little piece broken off. Looks like something from Roman times. It has a man riding a chariot on one side, the other side doesn`t resemble anything to me.
Does anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance.

It's not a coin, and I'm pretty sure it's not ancient. Rather, I suspect it's an 18th-19th century object, trying hard to imitate ancient style. I think this one is trying to imitate a Syracuse dekadrachm.

The obverse is rather corroded, but if you rotate the picture 90 degrees clockwise, you should see a Greek/Roman style portrait, facing right.
