It's not a coin, and I'm pretty sure it's not ancient. Rather, I suspect it's an 18th-19th century object, trying hard to imitate ancient style. I think this one is trying to imitate a Syracuse dekadrachm.
The obverse is rather corroded, but if you rotate the picture 90 degrees clockwise, you should see a Greek/Roman style portrait, facing right.
