I just had someone back home take a look see for me and its fake. <-- how I feel right now. I don't know how I missed it other then at the time I must of thought I hit the jack pot, I should know better and need to remember that I am and will always be learning something new aka just an older newbie. I guess the old saying if its a one of a kind it most likely is a fake,I guess I need to double no triple check and then check again before I buy something like that or I could the wife involved in coins and have her as a sounding board when some set or coin looks so fantastic I get stupid eyed tunnel vision. Once again many thanks to all and I hope this stupid buy of mine helps others to not get scammed by those who waste time and brain power trying to find ways to cheat others instead of putting their brain to good use helping them selves to make money honestly. Do not beat yourself up too much about this, the lesson learned from this experience will pay off for you in the long run. I believe every one of us has been there at one point in time. I hope you are able to return it from whence it came.

Good news I will get my money back. Sure hope it does not show up on some coin show for someone else to get taken in my this type of BS.. I can say I'm glad I did not need to send a friend out to a town west of Portland Oregon to collect for me.

I can only hope my screw up will prevent others from having the same thing happen to them, that is also why I posted the area of where the fake set came from just in case this person tries to sell it at a coin show in the Portland, OR and or surrounding area or online to someone who may have read this page.
Once again thanks to all for your help and kind words.

Always nice to have a heads up on what could be happening out in the collecting world.

Definitely looks like the 56 Franklin has been resealed. The 55 was removed in 56 was replaced. And that's going by the pictures that you showed a lot of the seals aren't lining up with that 56 coin .
