this is a $1 dollar coin found in change with the 6 being stamped very feint, is this a common error for the 2006

This is a struchk through error which happens when debris fills a part of the die.

I do not think it is common, but pretty sure there are other similar examples

Hi, the 2006 $1 is a Die Fill error. Meaning the numeral 6 on the working die has been blocked with Grease/Oil.
Not to common but findable. Good pick up there! jpl..

Findable if you look hard enough. The 2005 and 2006 $1 seem to be good years for date/Elizabeth die fills.
