Please try to not laugh too hard or rib me too much:)
I'm sure this is some kind of coin given to kids at some place like chuckie cheese or some unimportant (therefore completely worth nothing) kind of coin but I've honestly never seen one before. I can't seem to find anything from googling...any of you have a clue what this thing is?
Thank you so much for whatever information you can provide.

Humm I think it is from chucky cheese in the 80's.

It could be a generic type that was is used for points on the games that award prizes at the arcades. Probably earlier than the 80's, as the ski ball, basketball and the others used the paper ticket spitters that were feed by a large roll of tickets.
There are a large number of token collectors in the world, and on this forum.
As far as value If I came across this one I would pay a dollar or two, mostly depending on my mood at the time. It could sell from .50ยข to a couple of dollars.

Like most collectables what you can get is what somebody is willing to pay for it!

I would estimate the age to be much older.
Our summer playground sponsored a yearly trip to an amusement park.
This was in the 60s. Even then paper tickets were used.
Most likely from such an amusement park arcade.

Thank you all so much for trying to help me with this. I'm not a collector so much as someone who, in a very obsessive compulsive way, picks up any coin I see on the ground. We had a lot of (rare) rain recently and when I walk my dog I am constantly seeing some unearthed coin. I've discovered Euros, a Van Buren dollar, a fairly rare Sacagewea dollar, very old pennies, and now these strange things. You are right that for amusement type things only paper tickets have been used for decades. Now I am even more curious...think I'll check out the barber coin section though I don't even know what a barber coin is. ha! Thanks again :)
