Looks legit, but not a price I would pay.

The coin looks fine to me. It has a beautiful patina and price tag.

Yes it is quite nice. It is a very rare reverse type and unless you are overstocked on AP I would think the five more common types you could get for the money ..... (wait these are British pound sterling) The eight more common types would give you an excellent variety and more collecting pleasure.

I would recommend this type to someone who had already acquired a considerable collection. But it is almost Christmas and if this is what floats your boat ! Sear lists this type at $350 in VF which is a general indicator and should not be read as 'fact'. I wish I had one of these !

It is expensive ..... but not obscenely so

Thanks all! I agree it is a bit pricey. I have been on the lookout for one of these to add to my assemblage of interesting AP types for awhile. Some day...

Coin is nice for sure. I like it. It is pricey but I wouldn't say its unreasonable. I believe it has a very interesting reverse.

"CONDITIAN AS SEEN." A nice get-out phrase which means that the seller does not state "Condition as seen" in which case a coin sold may look very different "in hand" than in the photo. So they can do such as thing as they only stated "Conditian" which is meaningless.

Someone bought it, luckily not me.

I'll have to disagree with a lot of people here. That's a very good coin and it is not unreasonably priced for what it is (at a retail level), especially if the coin is better in hand than the photo suggests. I suspect the patina is a bit nicer than indicated by the dark photo. The coin is quite rare, highly interesting from a mythological perspective (itself unusual during this period), and rarely comes this well struck.

Nice find! I hope you bought it.
