Please help me to Identify these Mint mark(s)..under the 5 is a D and under the D top right looks like a half an "S" and the S looks like a S/S, what happen here.

I'm no expert, but all I see is a 1952 S. the 5 has something under it. What am I missing?

thanks all, I thought it was a known variety or 5 over 5 or a it appeared to be a D 5 over a D. since 1952 that was no write up on this?
