What is the ERROR called when a coin is missing some dots that go around the coin
It is a 1999 millennium.quarter from the set its the November coin with the airplane on it its missing about 7 dots in a row around the coin whats this called thanks in advance cant post pics but will try cant find it online anywhere and it came from the mint like this .....

It is called a strike through and the dots are called denticle's.

It is likely a strike through. But, I believe, this series has beads and not denticles?

Could be plugged die or Rolling Machine Damage,need pics.
The dots are called beads.1991 was the last year for circulation quarters with denticles.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
