I do not have a clue about this type coin. Anyway I went out on a limb and bid on it. Got it for under $5 total cost. Any info as to history mintage and value would be appreciated.

EDIT: I think you paid about the right price, even with shipping, and that's rare on ebay! People charge $9 to ship a $1 coin to Canada that could fit in a letter envelope
