DBM Pillar of the Community Canada 9862 Posts	Posted 12/30/2013 09:48 am token or Trade dollar, 1950 was the year of the incorporation of Whitehorse there are quite a number of different reverses for these as they were issued annually beginning in the '60s. There is a catalogue for Canadian Municipal Trade Tokens by Serge Pelletier,I don't know where you can buy a copy. papeldog Pillar of the Community Canada 1923 Posts	Posted 12/28/2020 12:56 pm I think Trade dollars are great conversation pieces and some have a lot of history info on them. This is one from my home town of a historic time and event in the 1800 before the city was even founded the first multi class room school built in the Northwest Territories at the time in a spot that became the city of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1903. My whole family went to this school from my Grandmother to us kids it was sad in the 70's when it was demolished and apartments were built in its spot 1 block from Main Street Moose Jaw's downtown core.
