Hi Folks
Came across this note. Am curious about the ink line that runs down the middle of the note. Was told it was the result of a partial tellers stamp. Just getting some opinions as I like to categorize things that I find. Thanks for any opinions.

Sure looks like a teller's stamp that ran off the edge of the strap.

I'll second that. You can see on the top and bottom of the vertical line that there is a corner proceeding to "box" whatever contents are on the stamp. In fact, just to the left of the line there is some evidence of the tops of some characters/letters. Probably not worth saving in this case. However if they overstamp enough to clearly show which bank it is, someone may have an interest in it.
