Quote: I would love to have a chat with the two people who have added the coin to their watchlist to understand what they were thinking. 1910S_1C, you got me chuckling and then more chuckling into full laugh-out-loud thinking about this. I'm still laughing.

Quote: It's a shame what someone did to this coin. Almost tempted to bid on it at $15. Update:

A thought... Just because people add items to a watch list doesn't immediately mean they are fools who can't wait to empty their pockets. I've added 'questionable' items to my watch list many, many times over several years, with the intent to observe and be able to locate/access item listings quickly.

Quote: Did you go and buy it? Yes, I put a minimum bid and won it. Seller was a jerk, however, and wouldn't send it with standard shipping.

I found it by going to ebay coins and typing lamination error as the search term. It's fun to go down the line and try to identify the type of PMD being passed off as a lamination!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/137591591859Ugh. An obvious fake on ebay has 40 bids of amounts up to $350 with 3 minutes left. Sadly, I believe that it is too late to stop somebody from losing some serious money, unless the bidding was done by shill bidders. Update: sold for $405.99
