Was taped into a coin case.

How should I remove the crud on the reverse?
Can I address the environmental damage on the obverse?
Grade?

you could try acetone and verdicare on it but it looks pretty far gone for either of those. Too bad because the coin had higher vf details left on it.

An extended acetone bath would be a good idea.
It doesn't affect the coin itself, just the crud on it.

Hold off on the VerdiCare until you see the results of acetone.
VerdiCare DOES affect a coin's surfaces.
