the upper parts of letters at the 10 oclock are almost
gone and the initials not visible,could this be an error?

In my view, I can see a form of a "F" but looks like the "G" took a hit.

Reverse looks like over polished dies to remove a die clash and obverse looks like a slight MAD and a late stage die.

its true john1 the cent have several scratches in both sides
not for circulation wear.

bpoc 1 the cent in hands dont show any trace of the initials but when you shoot a pic you can see a light trace of F.
