the monogram says L and A
The French medalist Louis Michel Petit (born august 29,1791- died July 19, 1844) signed his medals with "L.M. PETIT.F." or "PETIT.F.".
He made a lot of marriage medals.
More can be found in the work of L. Forrer volume IV book page 466
