Series 1969 Star Note With Misaligned Star Error

Note to mods: I couldn't find a forum for this post, if there is a more appropriate forum by all means move it there.

A friend recently sent me a series 1969 $1 star note. The star in the top right hand serial number is higher than normal. I was told that error star bills were very rare and my bill was worth significantly more than face value. What do you all think?
