I have been offered to buy this coin but I dont know anything about it. He wants 20$ for it. What do you guys think?

FWIW, the second image rotated 90 degrees clockwise is a rider on horseback.

Both pictures should be rotated 90° clockwise
This could be a jital from India, Pakistan, Afghanista region, probably mediëval.
If you collect coins from tha period and region, 20$ is not much, the coin is in rather good shape.
One side is indeed a horseman, other side may be early islamic writing.
But if you are not familiar with this writing then it is very difficult to make an identification.
Even finding catalogues is very difficult.
There are several websites from islamic coin collectors (google). Some of them offer help to identify coins.
