1950 Penny - What Is This..?

Hi..I may look like a fool after I post this, but this 1950 penny has some weird things going on with it...Please look at the edges of the coin..It may be PMD...But what I am interested in is the difference in thickness from one side of the coin to the other..Hope these pictures capture it...Thanks.

The ridge of the coin sticks up more so than usual just to the back of Lincoln's head...And skinnier at the edge nearest the date.

Sure looks like PMD from the second and forth pictures, but I'm no expert.

Many of my pennies have think side rims, especially from the 1950's. Because I work with uncirculated rolls, I have not seen areas "buffed."
