Got this Carus from the NYINC show:D
Love the obverse portrait; Mutton Chop / Handlebar Stash look is just too cool.
The reverse on the other hand., Any-how, I still dig the coin:)

Carus Antoninianus,
O: IMP CARVS PF AVG, Radiate, cuirassed bust rt.
Rx: VIRTUS AVGG, Soldier standing left, spear I left hand, leaning on shield w/ rt.
QXXI; Ticinum mint

Nice obverse on that. Is the reverse description back to front?

Nice style. I like the bust with the elaborate imperial dressing. Right down to the 'pearls' and folds in the cloth.

A very nice obverse but the reverse isn't avgg but avg, sole reign.
Did you notice the dots on the obverse? This is a early Ticinum emission 282.

A good find.

Below is an example of the "AVGG" type.
(I sold this two weeks ago to a buyer from Holland.)
