Third Sunday of every month in the Syracuse NY area there is a small coin show, about 25 tables, at the Ramada Inn in Liverpool NY. Can't even remember the last one I went to. Probably over 40 years ago. Kind of excited, just started collecting again, plus have a little extra cash. Am curious to see how the prices compare to some of the better ebay deals I've recently found Any idea of what I can expect besides a lot of fun

Have been many, many posts in the past about this. Sure wish I knew how to find them. As to a coin show. Almost any coin show I've ever been to beats places like ebay massively. And remember you get what you see. No wrong one sent. No postage. No ebay or paypal fees. No lost in mail. Just what you see is what you get.

Just left a WONDERFUL show - Boeing Employee Coin Club's 50th - this is a major one, 75 tables. Free admission, free parking, nice dealers. Some RPD trimes and a '53 SLH just had to come home with me.

But as was said above - lots of choices, you really can see it in hand, discuss things with dealers (you learn A LOT just pulling up a chair and talking when it gets quiet). Last show one of my dealer acquaintances pulled out an MS-67 that "you have to see".
