I got this a while back and only today did I notice a funny lump between the N and D of INDIA. A closer inspection revealed a couple other lines... that lump is George VI's earhole! This coin experienced a minor clash. I'm glad I finally noticed

The coin itself. Red lines to highlight the clash marks...

And here's an animated image to make the clash obvious

I use the free animated .gif assembler unFREEz:
http://www.whitsoftdev.com/unfreez/

I also used GIMP (another free program, it's an image editor) to work the transparency of the top layer correctly, and to match the scale and location of the two images correctly.

Do world coin errors have any value, or are they just a novelty type of thing?

Yes, I have seen this die clash before. Sadly, it does not seem to command much of a premium.

I am REALLY impressed with your animated image. I am going to try it myself.

Thanks very much for the tip!

Oops, I didn't read Do world coin errors have any value, or are they just a novelty type of thing? carefully. I was thinking just of Die Clash Errors.

Yes, dramatically mis-struck world coins in nicer grades bring high prices. Here I am thinking of dramatically double struck coins, like the one at https://goccf.com/t/155191 . Also full brockages. (Note that it is said that many British India rupee brockages have been counterfeited of late).
