I am getting pretty serious into building my
Lincoln Cent collection. I have gotten everything from 1934-2006 Red BU and all of the proofs from 1956-2006 except for the 1960 sm dt. proof, the 1970 sm dt proof, and the 1981 ty. II proof. I am working on the earlier dates being anywhere from VF up and am down to only needing a few semi keys and of course the 4 big ones. (1909-s vdb, 1914-d, 1922-p, and 1931-s)
I have the 2007 official
RedBook for
US coins, but I am looking for some reference books or in depth picture filled examples of errors ect. As well as something that will show me how to spot a fake 1914-d. I have around $150 to spend on books and I am curious to hear what you guys would reccomend as far as books dealing specifically with the
Lincoln Cent. Again I am not new to this at all, I have been collecting for about 15 years but I am looking for things to expand my knowledge of this series. Any help is appreciated!
