I think the term is Coronet.

I'm not a total purest when it comes to completing a set. If I can clearly read the date, and I'm sure I have the right coin in the right hole, I'm happy.

Like I mentioned before. Yes they are nice looking. Yes some great details. And they are available in almost any grade for a small amount of money. The only problem I see with those is just not a popular coin. IF you just want to collect a coin for it's looks with little to very little payback, if and when selling, nice collection. Only a few are in the higher price ranges so have fun.

Coronet is indeed the correct term.
It comes from the French - meaning crown.
Go figure.

so crown could technically be the right term. But its all the same thing. I just ordered some more of the harder dates now I just have to get all the other dates but what do you think about getting them in like au grade even though the rest of mine are in VF grade?

I think mixing VFs and AUs is up to you. Personally, I have sets of coins with XF to MS grades, and I'm fine with that. But that would make nickelsearcher unhappy, I think

It's all a matter of personal preference.
