I spotted this listing while at work this week but didn't have my Charlton handy to confirm my suspicions. I added it to my "watch list" and forgot about it until today. Unfortunately, the listing has ended but I might email the seller to inform him of his error before he ships it out. For anyone who isn't familiar with this mule, it occurs in Brilliant Uncirculated Sets only. It is missing the raised rim between the nickel, and inner bronze core. This should only be found on the proof versions(which is 92.5 silver). First of all, the sellers name is loonietwooniecoins, you would suspect he is an expert in these denominations. Secondly, he has a second listing for the empty case and COA. This should have been spotted by the buyer/bidders when spending $200+ on a coin. Both listings below, he has pulled a $20 silver proof coin from its case and listed it as a mule. http://www.ebay.com/itm/18130637628....m1438.l2649http://www.ebay.com/itm/181309901229Edited by SelectCoinCanada 01/25/2014 9:18 pm

Yup, that's what he's done. Shameful!

Check his feedback back to February of 2011... I busted him for shill bidding in his auctions, and ebay agreed with me. Definitely one who is on my permanent 'blocked bidders' list.

Shill bidding really grinds my gears, this person will definitely be on my block list. I wrote the seller an email last night and asked that they would do the "honourable thing" and refund the buyer.....I haven't received a response.

Its kind of like stealing as you are misleading people into false information, isn't it (fraud) and charges should be laid if it was a big chain store they would be investigated.

I've never heard of shill bidding before. So if someone opens a fake ebay acc. and bids against other bidders in order to increase the bid amount, I get that. But if I had something up for auction why would I care if this guy was to bid on it? Thats the part I dont get. I'm sure there is lots of crazy ebay tricks going on that I've never heard of.

Shill bidding is bidding on your own coins to drive up the price.

If he has no problem with shill bidding, he most likely has no problem with demanding a refund, a rebate, or filing some spurious claim.

Now that I think of it a guy like that could cause all sorts of problem..he could say the item is damaged or didn't receive it or give you bad feedback for no reason. Glad you pointed that out I'm going to block him permanently too then.:)
