Good morning,

I had a buyer win a small lot of clashed die nickels 12 days ago. I sent an invoice within the first day or two and another after 6 days. Emailed him two days ago and no payment or reply.

I assume it is safe to open an unpaid item case to get my fees back? Its been plenty long.

Can he still leave a negative? I want to say I read it is possible, but it can be removed since the transaction was voided by the unpaid case.

Only been selling for less than 2 months and this is the first issue so far.

Thanks for the tips

I assume you're talking about ebay.
First make sure the buyer hasn't paid; check your PayPal. An e-check is always a possibility.
If not, file an NPB (could have done that a week ago).

If the buyer loses you get your FVF back, the buyer gets a strike, and he can't leave feedback.

BUT DON'T do anything more with the coins until the case is closed.

If it were me, I would have opened the case 4 days after no payment. Sometimes buyers just need a little motivation to take the last step and complete the transaction.

And no, they cannot leave feedback after you close the case, if they still don't pay within the next 4 days after you opened it.

with the people above. I normally open a case 7 days after no payment unless something has been worked out.

I've switched the option on recently, so ebay open the unpaid case automatically for me.

I raced off to do the change mention below but then I remembered how many of our best buyers pay once every 2 weeks or once a month.

We get a lot of non payed items! It would be nice to know if the no feedback rule applies in AUS ebay. But they can always buy something else and leave bad feedback. The banned from bidding list would be 100's in a very short time trying to stop non payers exercising revenge.

A no win situation. Sad!
