Madm', I like your idea of the 10 rolls at a time. It makes it easier on those little girls working there. Before, I used to trade a checked bos for a sealed box, but that was when the tellers were men. I hate to do much driving, because I have a problem with focusing on the cars ahead. I see all around, but straight ahead is bothersome.. It is a condition known as MD, (Macular Deterioration). It has to do with the retina, being damaged, or something. Happy hunting folks! May all your finds be 1809-S-VDBs

I can't bring myself to just trade an open box for a sealed box. I feel like they are doing me a favor by ordering the boxes for me, so I won't inconvenience them again by returning it back for another one. I would think you would definitly be looking through the same coin after a while.

I take my rolled coins back to a seperate bank. I buy everything that the ladies have at the bank that will order me stuff. That way they never have to worry about carrying $2, havles, etc. in the drawer.

Putting the coins in bundles of 10 helps the tellers add up everyhting quickly. Plus, that is how they store the coins in their drawers. If I have a large number of coins I'll take 1/2 to one bank and then 1/2 to another. In the area I work at we have like 5 banks in a 4 block area. 3 together in one area, and 2 in another.
