I am a YN who has been collecting US coins for the past 6 years and would like to start learning about world coins and world coin varieties. I would appreciate it if other members can suggest books that I can purchase and read.

Thanks in advance,
Kenny

Impressive signature, 2 Indian heads!?! and a flying eagle in a MONTH... not bad. I have only seen one Indian head and that was a friends.

There is Krause's online catalogue, which covers most world coins and assigns book values.
However, this catalog may not cover all the coin varieties, and prices given may not reflect actual values to collectors in their respective countries. The best books are those published in the country of the coin's origin. I have catalogues from Australia, Canada, and Denmark which best represent their countries and/or regional mintages.

These are Charlton's Standard Catalogue for Canadian coins, Australian Coins and Banknotes by Greg McDonald, and Siegs Møntkatalog (coin catalog) covering all of Scandinavia (in Danish).
