Worst case, all you have to do is spend them! It would be more frustrating if you had paid a premium and shipping from ebay.

Look at the bright side, you can always cash them in at the bank and break even. That's assuming you didn't pay for shipping and handling.

Will not say bad word about the Loonies in these packs, but the Toonies...
The War of 1812 Twoonies were looked like the testing production version minted in rush - their rims were bad.
well, I thought, since they were among the first of new-style Toonies - anything could happen.
January release, I ordered "2014 O Canada Uncirculated gift set", just because of the Maple Leaf Loonie. Initially, I wanted to keep the set un-touched, but after took a look on the Toonie, I decided to brake a set and take out a Loonie coin. So the Toonie was again like in 2012 with "production damage".
Is this suppose to be a quality of Uncirculated coins?

My sticker fell off and ripped on my pack. No big deal, I only paid 5 bucks, but I like having my stuff mint.

@silveroid - they don't actually do the Brilliant Uncirculated coin sets anymore. They switched a couple of years back and just use circulation coins in the sets now.

Thanks for info, kuh_85
I assumed, that in all those gift sets the coins are different from circulation once.

I had this type of thing happen to me with the 2012 lucky loonie 5-packs. Many had scratches, dings, nicks, etc. I only found a couple of decent ones and spent the rest of them. Didn't bother to order them this year. Wondering if anyone knows if banks still give out the Olympic loonie rolls? If so, which banks...

Of the three packs I received, one had the sticker off, another had the sticker partially off and damaged and the third was/is fine. Sounds like they're having an issue with the stickers. I really don't care about the packaging, but I can understand those that do.

I would guess most of us are in the same boat. There seems to be a sticker problem. The quality in my coins are very substandard. But it's hard for me to complain here because I haven't lost anything. It was $15 for $15.
...........boy there are a lot of dings...
