I received my $ 25.00 you S Mint P and D Boxes today.

Philadelphia Mint Box Date is 12-26-2013

Denver Mint Box Date is 1-06-2014

I will be checking for error's soon. I haven't seen any reported error's on the Bay

And that right there should squash any uncertanties about whether or not the Mint strikes coins before the year marked on them. A packing date in 2013 for a 2014 coin.

My Philly Mint box date is 8:32:46 on 12-27-2013,
Denver Mint box date is 9:52:21 on 1-06-2014, and the
San Fran Mint box date is 9:44:08 on 1-2-2014.

I guess the mints are now putting the seconds on as well. I looked at my boxes for the Great Basin, Fort McHenry and Rushmore and they only have hour and minute.
