I reckon the 1977 CoA 50c, 1988 CoA 50c, 1992 MoR Dollar and 2005 MoB Proof Dollar will all be million dollar coins in 100 years.

So, just sit and wait now Walter.

Picking the big movers can be a tricky business. I will note your suggestions and keep an eye on prices as long as I am around -could be fun.

You wouldn't happen to have any of those for sale now Walter

1977 pattern 20cent

Ok, lets break this down, If we are talking about coins that have been issued already and take out any future coins out of the equation, it leaves our options to only a handful of coins.
1977 COA 50c
1988 pattern 50c
1992 MOR Dollar
2000 mule dollar
2005 MOR dollar
1977 20c pattern
1981 scallop 20c
2001 bi metal 20c
2005 proof platypus 20c
Plus numerous $1 missing mintmark coins.
In my rule of thinking, an error coin will not win the race to the million dollar mark which eliminates all the above coins EXCEPT
1977 20c pattern
1988 50c pattern
Since theres more than 1 of the 50cent, 1977 20c pattern will win the race

Maybe coinaus meant the 2005 CofA 50c coin? Only available in the joint UK/Aus Heritage sites PNC?

Hope so, I have one!

Bi Metal 20cent is an error coin so it won't beat the pattern. Errors are definitely scarce but will never beat a rare pattern coin
