2014 $1 Sydney Holographic 1oz silver colour Coin from the RAM with a printing of 15,000 and is the 1st planned minting with more of this theme being released over the next 10 years.

Very nice looking colour 1 oz silver coin but the cost of $120 for a mintage of 15,000 sound a bit steep. But the Holographic image maybe a costly process.

Any thoughts on this coin?

This coin has sold out before its release!

Only 3 sellers on ebay offering this coin at present. One seller $130 with mailing. The other $132.50 with mailing. Both BIN & an auction starting at $120.

More to come on ebay I would say.

My question has been answered.

Unless we are talking about two different coins, I don't think it's sold out. The RAM still has the piece available for sale on its web site - it's been there for weeks!

I found majority of RAM coins made well and in elegant traditional style.
Interesting, what for they try to "byte" the innovations market, which taken by Perth Mint, RCM and some others

Yes I am very wrong. Book noted the Australia Post site not the RAM.
