Always a popular destination for many collectors and the start of the Spring Coin Show Circuit in Southwestern Ontario, this year will be no different as Waterloo Coin Society carries on the long standing tradtion of service to the collecting community

Cambridge-Coin-Show.

For those who have never been to the Cambridge Newfoundland Club, getting there is easy as it's just off Highway 24 (Hespeler rd)at 1500 Dunbar Rd. across from the Cambridge Centre Mall (turn left at the lights by the Timmy's and it's just a short distance on your right hand side).

Free Admission, Free Parking and over 50 dealer tables to serve you, whether it's to buy, sell, trade or evaluate are sure to get almost anyone in the doors. The professional service, variety of numismatic material and old friends you meet here will keep you coming back year after year!

Hope to see many of forum members there and if not, please tell your friends and neighbours! Show runs from 9am-4pm.

Excellent turnout and a great success! Way more fun and satisfying than I imagined it would be.

Shortly after I posted, the show committee decided to select the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank as one of the beneficiaries, with the RCNA being the other. We wanted to pick two that benefit the community and the hobby.

Since there was no admission charge, attendees were very willing to donate to a local charity and we were able to raise just over $286.00 plus collect a large bin of food.

What particularly caught my attention was the large number of newer collectors coming through the door. Every show needs them and we added nearly two dozen new members!

Next year's show will be held on March 14, 2015. Hope it's even better!
