Alas t'was not to be ....... I could read the legend PERTIN AVG. The beginning being somewhat obscure. Well I did come back down to earth when I found the match (and spotted the SEV). As far as I can tell the only city to issue with the longer PERTIN instead of PERT. Oh well ...... keep on trying ! Septimius Severus AE25 of Kremna, Pisidia IMP C L SEP SEVER PERTIN AVG laureate draped and cuirassed bust right DIANAE C-REM, Diana standing facing head left, holding patera and spear, stag at foot right. My pics are better than the sellers and all I could see was P E R T I N. I got rather worked up. The bid was at $20 ! Took me almost half an hour before my bubble popped. By then I rather liked it.
