nalaberong Pillar of the Community Canada 2805 Posts	Posted 02/15/2014 6:57 pm Most early Israeli coins are demonetized and common enough to be really boring. But I had to spend $9 on this set just because of the cool presentation and the date. (my camera had some kind of colour balance issue) Soon, I will get to pretend to be a representative of Israel for an upcoming debate event, so this is a fun and timely pickup. And 1967 is a big year in Israeli history - the Six-Day War was in June. Israel won it in a big way. If this set had been produced after the war, the packaging would have looked like this: So, the set might be a cheapo item but the coins are nice and the date is more significant than most.
