The Constans coin reverse is SECVRITAS REI P, Securitas leaning against a column. It was issued in Rome after The "Great Massacre" of 337 when most of the other male members of Constantine's family (notably Delmatius and Hannibalianus) and their supporters were killed. This reverse was an attempt to make the citizens believe that the security of the Empire had been protected by the massacre.
