Still learning but hope I got the id right on this coin. I believe it to be a Severus Alexander Sestertius RIC 642 but could use the help of the experts to confirm. Any help appreciated.

I have found that it is relatively easy to get rather nice sestertii of Severus Alexander.
This is a nice one as well.

A scan across the VCOINS offerings reveals a good range of these in relatively nice condition, at reasonable cost.

The "nice" guys always seem to be reasonably priced. It's the real skunks who bring the big bucks.
I have accumulated a nice batch of Antoninus Pius sestertii for very modest prices. Being patient about finding nice ones helps !

Very nice coin. I have yet to attain such a coin so I may look into VCoins to get an idea on pricing and wait on one I like.
