Hi all. I was looking on ebay and found an owl / Athena coin in copper. It looked exactly the same as the silver. Is it fake? It looks nice but I've never heard of a copper one before. He offers a c.o.a. But anyone can print a certificate. Just curious. Thanks

It's a fake and does not look exactly like the real in one silver. He actually sold this one before...someone must have figured out it was fake. He has other fakes for sell also.

Yeah I checked out the other items and there's a lot with the big round eyes and lettering that just looks wrong. It's a shame.

That coin ^ can't possibly be real!
Boy, does that seller peddle junk!
Should I spend the rest of my evening reporting those?

Either he's really bad at taking pictures or those 'rare ancient silver coins' are actually pewter... or just plain lead
