Yes it seems to be the same coin. Its not unusual to see coins showing up in different auction venues within a few days of closing on another. In this case however if he is the owner he is going to take a big loss if some one wins on the minimum bid. I would also dispute PCGS MS64 grade from the pics the coin has some corrosion.

Haha! I PM'd him asking if he would accept $2070 (exactly what he paid). He replied with a counter offer of $2300, claiming that was $50 over his cost.

I sent him a link to the Heritage Auction, which shows what he paid.

He canceled the auction and relisted it with a BIN of $2270.

I have lost some non coin related auctions only to find the winner has relisted the same item within hours using the photos from the original auction.
