I just relisted something on ebay and I converted it from a buy it now to auction and instead of an auction it was "Chinese auction". Why are they calling it that?

Never heard of that before.... and after searching the web can't find anything to indicate that ebay would be offering these... whatever they are... can you get a screenshot of where it says Chinese auction?

It is when you go to unsold and click relist and it gives you the little box so you can make small changes such as price title etc and when I converted from a buy it now to auction, that popped up.

Here is ebay's definition of a "chinese auction" from their listings type page.

Quote:
Single-quantity online auction format. A Chinese auction has a Quantity of 1. Buyers engage in competitive bidding, although Buy It Now may be offered as long as no bids have been placed. Online auctions are listed on ebay.com, and they are also listed in the seller's ebay Store if the seller is a Store owner.

I think an even bigger question is if you are selling ford parts does that mean you have the courage to drive one too?

See, the thing is with those, is they aren't selling, because Fords never break down.

Never break down? Hmm....only reason I like ford is because they are an honest company. Right on the grill they like to circle their mistake for everyone to see

I got more, but I'll save them for another thread. Hate to use up all the good stuff all at once. :)
