Does anyone know if this coin is the variety "Narrow Date" The date seems to match up with the images on cherry pickers and it does not look like the wide date. Thanks!

I'd say it is the tall date variety based on the curl of the 9. The bulb on the end and the loop almost touch on the normal date. Yours is widely spread apart. Nice, scarce find! Congrats!

Thanks Jay, it is the only Shield nickel I have, feeling blessed! I purchased it when I was a teen at a local coin shop, many moons ago, they nor I had any idea what it was until now.
